So, on Saturday, I had to wake up at 7 in order to get our cosplay ready and not long after I finished putting on make-up, I realized that my trident had started falling apart during transit. So, grateful to my over-preparedness, I had my super glue and tried to fix it but the super glue wouldn't work so I decided to leave it. We stopped at Target on the way to the Sheraton in hopes that I could fix it up.
Once we got there, the moment that I stepped through the doors, I was asked by a staff member to take my trident up to Weapons Check; having a trident over 6 feet in length was bound to garner attention, especially with its shiny-ness (sp?) XD
So I told the rest of our Reborn group that I was going up for Weapons Check, and on my way, I was stopped multiple times by people asking for photos. I felt so bad for my friend, who was accompanying me up to Weapons Check since he had to hold on to all my stuff and keep me on my feet since I had no depth perception as Chrome.
So far, I've only seen one photo of myself and that's on Facebook since one of our group tagged me on her friend's photo. If you happen to see any photos of me, please message me! I went as Chrome Dokuro with the large-ass trident.
Anyway, I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted to, and what saddens me even more is that fact that our entire group wasn't able to go to the scheduled REBORN! photoshoot since we had no idea where it was. T^T
I really did enjoy Saturday and wanted to go back on Sunday but our driver had to come back in order to attend his graduation. Wow, he was the youngest of all of us...
All in all, I had a great time at A-Kon and hope that next year will be better with less miscommunication among all groups
